Geils Rules

I haven't updated in a couple months... been very busy, and also very happy. Work was kicking my ass for a while but now I've got my brain wrapped around it all and it's under control. Been running again, with Champ. Summertime usually means more beer, which also has to mean staying in shape. Saw The Three Musketeers at free theatre in the park and it was fun, a lean, 90-minute CliffNotes version that mostly stuck with the fucking and fighting parts of the plot. Perfect for mental pedestrians like me. Last month Ed and I went to Chicago and attended two Red Sox - Cubs games at Wrigley, and Jasmine and I got our divorce legalized. Of course that was sad, although I couldn't let that marriage continue, I'll always love her in a special way and it's sad that things happened as they did. We shall continue to be in each other's lives. Now back to Seattle... the relationship with Jessica goes well. She is a brilliant and amazing person who makes me extremely happy. Been beefing up the vinyl collection lately, and scored some real gems yesterday in West Seattle: the self-titled debuts by J. Geils (1970) and the Fabulous Thunderbirds (1979). Whoa, Nelly. Okay, I am off to enjoy the rest of this lovely Sunday.
